John Doe 1928-2025

WILMINGTON - John Doe died on March 22, 2025 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

John was born on Feb. 14, 1928 in a town somewhere and raised near the coast. He went to school, fell in love, married, and worked as a journalist until he retired in 1995.

John is preceded in death by his wife, and leaves behind four children, John Jr. (Aimee), Jonathan (Leah), Joanne (Bill), and Jill (Brad). Eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at his church of 50 years in Wilmington, NC., with burial to follow.
